Tania Garrido

Tania Garrido licenciada en teatro gestual por la Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid (RESAD 2003). Emprende una búsqueda personal hacia su propio lenguaje que le lleva por diversos países estudiando con diferentes maestros danza, teatro y butoh y asiste a clases regulares y talleres en las escuelas Movement Research, DNA y CAVE. También cursa el Winter Training y el Summer Intensive con la SITI Company, bajo la dirección de Anne Bogart.

From 2005 to 2010 she was co-director of the company Cranämour ButohDanzaTeatro with which he has made his own work obtaining the Injuve prize 2008 with “Pájaros” and the first prize of the Unidanza 2011 contest with the solo “Etzev” (in its first version). Professionally she has worked in several companies (Karlik Danza, Teatro del Silencio, Jesús Rubio Company, Sharon Fridman, Lucía Marote, among others) and has collaborated with stage directors David McVicar, Romeo Castellucci and Davide Livermore, as a dancer, at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
