BIONIC FESTIVAL IS ONE OF THE FEW INTERNATIONAL EVENTS THAT MANAGE TO DECARBONIZE ITS LOGISTICAL PRODUCTION COSTS AND TO COMPENSATE AS WELL ITS DIGITAL CARBON FOOTPRINT, THROUGH THE DONATION OF THE PLANTS AND TREES PROTAGONISTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF TWO BIONIC PARKS IN SPAIN & PORTUGAL
BUILDING A NEW ART, A NEW CULTURE, A NON POISONOUS CULTURAL EVENT, A CARBON NEGATIVE SHOW
We are a cultural event that compensates its logistical production emission costs and we also compensate our digital content energetic emissions. We have a modest negative carbon balance, because it is really difficult to compensate emissions. Cultural events usually never compensate its production costs and never compensate their digital carbon fooprint, and therefore, can they be described as cultural events in a world where climate change lead by human pollution is killing most living creatures on Earth? A killing culture can be called culture? Or traditional culture has lead to an environmental collapse or an environmental necrosis?
The Bionic Festival is here to fight this cultural and environmental necrosis, to show that a non poisonous show is possible. To defend a cultural oasis. An oasis that defends life, an oasis that works hard to transform to negative its carbon footprint while creating poetry.
The Bionic Festival is one of the few international events that has a negative carbon balance and serves as an example that non-anthopocentric Art, can help in building a greener world, a culture that does not pollute young generations, a non-poisonous culture. A culture that explores life, a culture that enjoys life, a culture that supports life. A culture where interbiological connections make us advance into a new biosensitivity, a new channel where we re-program our stablished ideas, and untie us from anthopocentrism, leting free our biological imagination and inspiration.
Come and dance with all our plants and artists, and dream of a new world where Artists ans Trees can lead the de-carbonization of the economy. We didnt find any politician that supported us in this 10 years, but we know some visionary politician will support us in the future. While we wait for some fresh air that changes the world politics, open this new window of Antioxidant Art with the Bionic Festival Artists & Botanic Stars.
We talk about life, we defend public health supporting performances, we challenge tradition and bring some poetry around us and we transform our negative energy into green spaces for the body and soul. Please be kind to our many artists, they have all help develop a truly sustainable proyect that connects us to a new artistic playground. A playground where the air around is not toxic, a playground for you to enjoy with respect, dream and reflect about the many challenges we face and the many new gateways we can open.

El Bionic Festival 2019 no se celebró, pero se grabaron varias actuaciones de Danza Biónica en Lisboa, con los Artistas Haizam Fathy y Cecilia Gala, que viajaron desde Madrid a Lisboa en Coche. En 2019, las emisiones de ese viaje fueron de 0.30 toneladas de CO2. La planta que se empleo en esas grabaciones se compro en una tienda en el centro de Lisboa, por lo que no hubo mas transportes que generasen emisiones, no se utilizaron focos, y no se generó un consumo energético que generase mas emisiones en 2019.
En el año 2019 el Bionic Festival emitió 0.30 toneladas de CO2
